H.O.P.E. Objectives

H.O.P.E.(Helping Our People Excel) was begun in Spring of 2007. Since that time we have developed clear and concise goals and objectives. We know what we are about and where we are going.
We are committed to our goals and confident in our success.

Goal 1: Develop the infrastructure to support the current supports being provided by AOI to homeless and low-income families/individuals in metro Denver.

Objective I:	Complete incorporation and receive tax exempt status for HOPE.
Objective II:	Continue bi-monthly board of directors meetings.
Objective III:	Develop a business plan, including diversified funding strategy.
Objective IV:	Secure funding to hire a part-time Project Director and part-time Operations Director.
Objective V:	Develop an annual fundraising event
Objective VI:	Develop an organizational website
Objective VII:	Development of capital campaign to address the structural needs

Goal 2: Maintain and expand supports of the existing food bank.

Objective I:	Increase number of families/individuals receiving food & other basic supports by 15%.
Objective II:	Provide cultural and educational opportunities to families/individuals receiving supports.
Objective III:	Provide volunteer opportunities for families/individuals receiving supports from HOPE to expand the work of HOPE.
Objective IV:	Identify sustainable funding for the Client Assistance Fund.

Goal 3: Coordinate community resources to optimize supports to homeless and low-income families and individuals in metro Denver.

Objective I:	Solicit in-kind donations from local businesses and neighbors.
Objective II:	Organize a volunteer-base to support the mission of HOPE.
Objective III:	Develop a monthly newsletter to market the mission of HOPE.
Objective IV:	Identify current organizations that provide basic human needs and spirit in Denver to avoid duplication of services.
Objective V:	Develop a system of referral to organizations providing supports in metro Denver.
